Cherry
After I purchased some new audio equipment I decided that we needed a storage unit for stereo components and CD’s so I cut some cherry into thin veneer slices to allow for book matched side supports. The drawers are internally divided to provide for vertical storage of CD cases, and the drawer fronts incorporate integral pulls at their top edges. Above the unit is a water color painting made by an architect friend of mine who painted this scene from a photo I took while on a trip to Talinn, Estonia with my daughter.
