Red Oak
A friend from the architectural firm where I worked for forty years is a huge New York Yankees fan, and actually designed the facility where the Yankees conduct spring training in Florida. He has an extensive collection of baseball memorabilia and asked if I could make two racks to display part of his bat collection. He suggested the basic configuration and provided the bronze head plate. Rift sawn red oak stained with cherry was used for the racks
